March 27, 2025: Earth’s Best Says It Will Not Provide Heavy Metal Content Information on All of Its Baby Food Labels

According to its website, not all of Earth’s Best’s baby food labels will have a special QR code required by California’s new law. California regulators passed a new law to increase transparency and help parents make informed decisions about what foods they give to their infants and small children. The law requires companies that sell baby food in California to publish the heavy metal content of some of their products. While other manufacturers have said they will include this label on all their baby foods, Earth’s Best has said they will only do so on a select few products as required by the new law.
